Beyond 77 Task Force
As part of CRTPO’s responsibility to our member jurisdictions, stakeholders, and the public, staff is organizing a Beyond 77 task force to guide the implementation phase of this initiative. CRTPO staff wishes to continue the momentum and success of the study and with your input and collaboration to help us advance the next phase of Beyond 77 – the Beyond 77 Implementation.
Bicycle and Pedestrian Work Group
The establishment of the Bicycle and Pedestrian work group grew from a need to ensure consistency and continuity in ongoing bicycle and pedestrian planning efforts. The Work Group also works to ensure that bicycle and pedestrian users, planners, and advocates throughout the MPO region have a voice in the planning process.
Comprehensive Transportation Plan Work Group
Over the last four years, the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO) has had multiple working groups to address issues in the Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP).
Project Oversight Committee
The formation of this subcommittee was a recommendation made by the CRTPO Board in recognition of an increasing amount of locally administered projects that required a consistent tracking effort to ensure that all projects are implemented on time.
Transit Education Initiative Task Force
The Transit Education Initiative (TEI) Task Force was formed in June 2020 by the CRTPO Board chairman Dr. Michael Miltich to lay the foundation for a shared understanding of federal funding for public transit and potentially recommend an update to the formula for allocation of FTA Section 5307 funds.
