CRTPO and GCLMPO Host a Joint MPO Roundtable

Collaborating for Strategic Regional Growth

The Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO) and the Gaston Cleveland Lincoln Metropolitan Planning Organization (GCLMPO) are holding a Joint MPO Roundtable on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 5:00-7:30 p.m. The Joint Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Roundtable, themed Collaborating for Strategic Regional Growth, will be held at the Charlotte- Douglas International Airport, Eagle Conference Room, 5601 Wilkinson Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28208. This meeting is being held in-person. No action will be taken during meeting.

The MPOs are providing this opportunity for their elected and technical representatives among the member jurisdictions to build relationships and better understand collective interests. The Roundtable will include speakers and a facilitated work session focusing on existing and potential funding opportunities. Over the last few years, visioning and planning work has laid the groundwork for joint implementation opportunities with projects such as the Catawba Crossings study, CONNECT Beyond, and Beyond 77.

CRTPO is the federally designated MPO for the Charlotte urban area; its planning area includes Iredell, Mecklenburg, and Union counties. More information is available on the CRTPO website at https://crtpo.org/.
