While it is critical to our communities to follow social distancing guidelines, we want to honor our commitment of providing full access to our public meetings. Residents are encouraged to use Facebook Live to view the meeting.
Due to in-person limitations from the COVID-19 pandemic, residents that wish to provide public comments may do so by submitting their comments in advance via regular mail or e-mail. The comments must be received by 2 p.m. on the meeting date. The public comments (or excerpts thereof) will be provided to the CRTPO Board prior to the meeting and shared verbally during the meeting.
Individuals desiring to submit comments for the public comment period or on the action items can do so by:
City of Charlotte
600 E. Fourth St., 8th Floor
Charlotte, NC 28202
(please be aware that U.S. Mail is currently being received slower than usual)
Please reference the applicable public comment or action item in your comments. Comments must be received by 2 p.m. on the meeting date to be summarized during the meeting to the CRTPO Board and provided in full as part of the meeting minutes.
Residents that wish to provide verbal public comments, can do so by submitting an email to the CRTPO Secretary, at firstname.lastname@example.org, no less than five (5) minutes before the start of a CRTPO Board meeting. (Verbal public comments may be via Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic due to in-person limitations or restrictions.)
Please reference the applicable public comment or action item in your email. The speaker(s) will be recognized by the CRTPO Board Chair during the public comment period on the agenda. CRTPO Bylaws limit speakers to three minutes each and the comment period to 20 minutes.
The CRTPO Board agenda and related meeting materials are available on CRTPO’s website in advance of the meetings.
